The principal aim of the project is to deliver a renewably powered machine that can transform rescued aluminium cans into hardware. We are working with Elvis & Kresse to develop an Open Source micro solar forge. The specific goal was to create an inexpensive technology that would allow Elvis & Kresse to collect littered aluminium cans and transform them into hardware (buckles, D-Rings etc.) for their range. https://bftt.org.uk/funded_project/elvis-kresse-metal-forge-elvis-and-kresse/
