Brief Biography

Dr Haixue Yan received his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Technology from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2001. He is a Senior Lecturer in Materials at Queen Mary University of London (QMUL). His research area includes: processing and analysis of the microstructures and properties of advanced materials with textured, nano- and metastable structures, covering dielectrics, ferroelectrics, thermoelectrics and ceramic-CNT composites. His research has being funded by EPSRC, Royal Society, Royal Academy of Engineering and industry. He has published 136 peer reviewed papers with an H index of 38 and has 4 patents. He is an Editorial Board Member of Materials Research Bulletin and Advances in Applied Ceramics.
