Materials Detectives: Co-Creating AI Understanding with East London Students A Queen Mary Centre for Public Engagement small-grant workshop (February 2026) for 26 Year 12 pupils from 11 schools, who worked through materials-engineering "detective" problems and explored where AI tools help, testing whether an active-learning framework designed for undergraduates transfers to pre-university learners. Algorithmic Team Formation Toolkit for Group Coursework Develops a browser-based tool that forms balanced student project teams from academic profile and student preferences, with a contribution-attribution marking scheme that credits individual work within group coursework. Funded by the CREME Scholarship Support Fund 2025–26, the toolkit is being prepared for adoption across SEMS modules and transnational programmes. |
