Thermoelectrics, Graphene, Plastic electronics, Perovskites, Energy Materials, Energy harvesting, Sustainable materials, 2D materials

Interests

Dr Oliver Fenwick has research interests in processable semiconductor materials, with a particular focus on their properties in devices. These devices include thermoelectric generators and organic light-emitting diodes, amongst others. His research focuses on the unravelling the underlying physics of the optoelectronic or thermoelectric properties wirth a view to using this understanding to develop future materials and new device architectures. He is particularly interested in understanding the role of morphology and interfaces in the material and device performance. He has expertise in thermal property measurement, charge transport, charge injection, device physics, materials engineering, photoelectron spectroscopy and scanning probes.
