Interests

My current reaserch activity include the processing and the characterization of electroceramics and electroactive materials for different applications. Ongoing investigations are mainly focused on the development of ferroelectric and antiferroelectric devices undergoing electric field-induced transformations for energy storage applications and on the fundamental mechanisms of ferroelastic/ferroelectric switching. Other research interests include the development of single phase multiferroic materials and piezoelectric acoustic devices based on piezoelectric polymeric nanofibers for acoustic harvesting and biomedial applications.
