Interests
My research is in the area of mechanics of materials, with focus on
1) innovative design and mechanics of materials and structures under extreme environment such as blast , impact and shock;
2) mechanics of cellular materials and fibre reinforced composites
3) multiphysics modelling of material behaviours ;
4) Design and mechanics of bio-inspired materials and structures, such as self-healing cellular materials;
5) design and mechanics of additively manufactured (AM) multifunctional mechanical metamaterials.
