ICAMMM-2022: International Conference on Advanced Materials, Metallurgy and Manufacturing

ICAMMM-2022 was successfully held from 1 to 2 November 2022. This hybrid event was hosted by MMED, PEC Chandigarh. The 2-day conference was well-attended by scholars and scientists from worldwide. We gratefully thank all our wonderful Keynote Speakers, Speakers, Conference Attendees, Students, and Organizing Committee Members for making ICAMMM-2022 Conference the best ever. ICAMMM-2022 chaired four sessions on 1) Advanced Energy Materials 2) composites and their applications, 3) ADI Technology, and 4) Surface Technology in which the International speakers from USA, Poland, Singapore, Philippines, Italy, United Kingdom, Japan discussed and exchanged views.

First day session was divided into two which were ADI Technology and Advanced Processes in Metallurgy and Advanced Energy Materials in which a keynote lecture from 1) Prof. Vibhor Chaswal Consultant, TAT Technologies, St. Marys, Asst. Professor, Penn State University, USA. 2) Dr. Dariusz Garbiec Lukasiewicz- Research Network, Poznan Institute of Technology, Poland. 3) Prof. Gurpreet Singh Harold O. and Jane C. Massey Neff Professor, Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering, Kansas State University, USA. 4) Prof. Zhichuan J. Xu School of Materials Science and Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore gave their keynote lectures. There were 8 oral presentations in ADI Technology session followed by 8 oral presentations/8 posters on Advanced Energy Materials.

The second day consisted of two sessions titled "Surface Technology" and "Composites and Their Applications," each of which featured a keynote lecture given by 1. Dr. Wei Wei Wichita State University, Wichita, KS, USA. 2. Prof. Rey Y. Capangpangan Mindanao State University, Philippines. 3.  Dr. Jan Hosta, who is a senior researcher at ISTEC, CNR, Italy. In the area of Composites and their applications, there were 11 oral presentations and 10 poster presentations. This was followed by an excellent keynote lecture on Field assisted material engineering (FAME) given by Dr.  Salvatore Grasso, Senior Lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, United Kingdom, and Dr. Theresa Davey, Assistant Professor at the School of Engineering at Tohoku University, Japan, in the area of Surface Technology. There were also 8 oral presentations in Surface Technology session followed by 4 poster presentations.

ICAMMM-2022 highlights the latest advancements in materials research happening at international level. The conference also offered a wonderful opportunity for researchers, students, scientists, academic professionals, and industry leaders in the field to discuss current challenges in materials, manufacturing and metallurgy and share their ideas, and exchange research ideas with one another. The papers that were submitted made a significant contribution to the Conference.

Everyone who was there has only had positive things to say about the conference, which I have heard. Both the presenters and the attendees of the sessions had done a good amount of preparation. Everyone felt that we did a good job organizing the meetings, selecting thought-provoking topics. Congratulations on both a successful and memorable conference. It makes a cheering moment for us.
