In the previous 4 phases of the project, an intelligent pump controller based on Fuzzy Logic has been transferred onto an Arduino hardware platform which created a basis for a general control solution for Anglian Water sewer network. A prototype of the intelligent pump controller has been successfully deployed to a pumping station for an extended trial operation. Following this development, further advanced functions and features are needed for the intelligent pump controller to enable maintenance features, communication and diagnostic functions based on sensor inputs.
