Robot Mechanisms and Systems Group
Research activities in the Robot Mechanisms and Systems (RMS) Group are mainly focused on the study of kinematics and dynamics of parallel mechanisms/robots, reconfigurable robot mechanisms, robotic grippers and multifingered robotic hands, morphable soft-bodied robots, legged mobile robots, aerial robots, origami robots and assistive devices.
The RMS Group is part of the Centre for Advanced Robotics @ QMUL (ARQ), which is equipped with state of the art facilities, including EPSRC Core Equipment Award funded Q-Arena for multidisciplinary research environment for human-centred robotics, several dexterous robotic manipulators, mobile robots, robotic hands, CNC machines, and 3D printers.
The Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is a leading research oriented Russell Group University, located in the booming creative high-tech cluster of east London.
