Robotic Systems Research (RSR) Group

Research activities in the Robotic Systems Research (RSR) group mainly focus on computational kinematics and dynamics of robotic/mechanical systems, aerial robotics, bio-inspired robotics, origami-inspired robots, legged mobile robots, reconfigurable mechanisms and morphable soft-bodied robots.

The Robotic Systems Research Group is one of the core teams within the Centre for Advanced Robotics @ QMUL (ARQ), which is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including EPSRC Core Equipment Award-funded Q-Arena for a multidisciplinary research environment with a motion tracking system capable of high frame rate and high-accuracy tracking for human-centred robotics, several dexterous robotic manipulators, mobile robots, robotic hands, CNC machines, and 3D printers.

Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) is a leading research-oriented Russell Group University, located in the booming creative high-tech cluster of East London.
