Brief Biography
Dr Josephine Wu is an Academic Fellow in Tissue Engineering & Regenerative Medicine at Queen Mary University of London. Previously she completed her BSc in Bioengineering at UC Berkeley, her PhD in Biomedical Engineering at Columbia University with Professor Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic, followed by postdoctoral training at Trinity College Dublin with Professor Daniel Kelly. She has been the recipient of several competitively awarded fellowships, including the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship, United States National Institutes of Health Individual Predoctoral Fellowship (NIH F31), and United States National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship (NSF GRFP). Dr Wu is currently supported by the Wellcome Trust Early Career Award.
