Brief Biography
Hulya earned her BSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Istanbul Technical University in 2015. Following this, she received a Fulbright scholarship and moved to the United States, where she completed her MSc and PhD at the University of Maryland in 2018 and 2021, respectively. Her doctoral research focused on the experimental investigation of transverse gust encounters. Subsequently, she worked as a research fellow at the University of Southampton, studying the aerodynamics of closely coupled rotors. Hulya's research aims to enhance the understanding of fundamental flow physics in various unsteady aerodynamic problems.
