Within the energy sector I am most concerned with the integration issues for new technologies and the impact these have on all aspects of the energy supply chain and on energy policy. These technologies include all forms of renewable generation, combined heat & power and distributed generation, energy storage, smart meters and smart grid, and load management.

Projects involving advanced or high technology require a different management approach to accomodate the uncertainties involved. These can include PRINCE2 and similar protocols but also new and innovative approaches.
