Expertise: Dr. Tian Du's preliminary research focus is the understanding and control of bulk and surface recombination in solar cells based on metal halide perovskites, using a combination of materials, spectroscopic and optoelectronic characterizations. His research also focuses on developing scalable and universal post-treatment methodologies for metal halide perovskite thin films that are not reliant on complex chemical modifications.

Brief Biography

Dr. Tian Du started his PhD in the Center for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Plastic Electronics at Imperial College London in 2015 with the funding of Stephen and Anna Hui Fellowship, under the supervision of Dr Martyn McLachlan (Materials) and Professor James Durrant (Chemistry). Prior to that he received bachelorÔ??s degree from Beihang University, P.R. China, and MSc degree (Distinction) from Department of Materials, Imperial College London in 2014.
