Research Overview

Our main research focus is on preparation of designed functional polymers. We are interested in developing new synthesis techniques, catalysts, initiators and monomers. We use advanced polymer synthesis techniques such as controlled radical polymerizations, anionic polymerization, cationic polymerization as well as click reactions. In particular, metal free click reactions provide excellent polymeric materials that can be used in various applications. You can find below som of the polymer properties or application areas that we are currently interested in. However, we are not limited with any synthesis technique or application areas and we are quite open to work on new areas that will have polymer synthesis and characterization in the core.
