Interests

My research focuses on developing wearable sensing, musculoskeletal modelling, signal processing and machine learning methods to measure and interpret human biomechanics in clinically inspired contexts such as ageing and long-term health conditions. I am also interested in interactive prosthetics and soft robotic systems that compensate for a loss in functional and dexterous capabilities.

Alongside this technical work, I have a strong interest in engineering education and pedagogical research, particularly classroom knowledge-exchange dynamics and the design and evaluation of virtual engineering laboratories.
