LAPS - Light Addressable Potentiometric Sensing, Optical Physics, Light-Matter Interactions, Optoelectronics, Scanning Ion Conductance Microscopy, Comsol, THz TDS

My doctoral thesis at the University of Southampton investigated methods to optically control the electronic properties of graphene monolayers, for the use in tuneable plasmonic metamaterial devices.

After this I continued at Southampton as a Research Fellow investigating novel planar lasing devices in the School of Physics and Astronomy, before moving to the Optoelectronic Research Centre to investigate unusual properties of plasmonic metasurface at visible-wavelengths.

At QMUL I am developing laser scanning systems for Light Addressable Potentiometric Sensors (LAPS) integrated with Scanning Ion Conductance Microscopy (SICM) to perform electrochemical measurements of biological systems.
