Expertise: Currently, Dr. Zolotarev is working on the project for designing optimal ablation therapy for atrial fibrillation through simulation and deep learning of digital twins. His research interests lie in the intersection between data science (computer vision and signal processing), and cardiology, particularly cardiac arrhythmias.

Brief Biography

Dr. Alexander Zolotarev is a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Engineering and Materials Science, Queen Mary University of London. He graduated with honors from the Russian MSTP (Medical Scientist Training Program) in 2018 -with MSc degree in Applied Physics and Mathematics from Moscow Institute of Science and Technology and MD degree from Sechenov University. He was awarded a PhD degree in Data Science from Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology in 2022 for Atrial Fibrillation signals and maps analysis.
