Brief Biography
I completed my PhD at University College London (UCL), where I worked on the role of HIF pathway in bone tissue engineering under the guidance of Professors Gavin Jell and Kaveh Shakib. Following the completion of my PhD, I continued my research as a postdoctoral fellow at the UCL Division of Surgery & Interventional Science, collaborating closely with clinicians. During this phase, my primary focus was on the modelling of diabetic bone healing and devising strategies to restore impaired bone healing in affected patients. I also serve as an Associate Editor at the Elsevier British Journal of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery (BJOMS), contributing to scholarly discourse in the field. Beyond editorial responsibilities, I have actively engaged in teaching and mentorship, providing guidance to students at various academic levels, including BSc, MSc, and PhD candidates.
