3D Scanning

Another service available to students and staff is 3D scanning. Using a Creaform Handyscan Black Elite we are able to produce 3D STL models with a resolution up to 0.025mm. Due to the size and portability of the scanner we can easily scan on site. This service allows you to fully inspect complex 3d components, or replicate parts or objects without lengthy reverse engineering procedures.
