Showcasing SEMS Research at the Industrial Liaison Forum
5 November 2026

We were delighted to showcase the exciting research taking place across SEMS at our biannual Industrial Liaison Forum, held on 3 November.
The event provided an excellent opportunity for our second and third-year PhD students and undergraduate research students to present posters highlighting their research, while our postdoctoral researchers shared their work through a series of flash presentations.
The Research Showcase brought together representatives from industry, academics and students, providing a valuable platform for sharing research findings, exchanging ideas and strengthening connections between academia and industry.
With over 80 research posters and nine flash presentations, the event highlighted the breadth and diversity of research being undertaken across SEMS.
Congratulations to all participants, particularly our prize winners, whose outstanding contributions were recognised during the event.
