Dr Rehan Shah attends AI Advancement Forum on Revolutionising Education at the Palace of Westminster, House of Lords

Dr Rehan Shah was specially invited to attend the AI Advancement Forum on Revolutionising Education held at the Palace of Westminster, House of Lords. This was hosted by the University of Surrey for the launch of KEATH.ai (Key Evaluation and Assessment Tools Hub), an advanced AI technology tool that will revolutionise automated assessment in higher education.
Dr Shah represented QMUL at the event, which also comprised notable academics and senior education leaders from a variety of universities across the UK. The launch event featured welcome speeches by The Lord Taylor of Warwick and the President and Vice-Presidents of the University of Surrey, in addition to a panel discussion with senior directors and Vice-Chancellors of UK universities and education assessment providers.
In addition to this, key insights from the KEATH.ai tool were provided by the team responsible for developing followed by a forum with speakers discussing "AI's potential role and impact in education". The event also provided a valuable networking opportunity to meet new colleagues and share thoughts on the potential rising importance that AI will inevitably have across the domain of higher education for both staff and students.
