SEMS hosted a visit from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) on Monday 28th November. They were lead by the Assistant Cultural Attaché from the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and by Professor AlKharoubi, KFUPM.

The group were a total of 24 students and staff from KFUPM and from Amarco. After an introduction to SEMS by Professor Liz Tanner they went on a tour of undergraduate and research labs in the Engineering and Frances Bancroft buildings. In Engineering they visited the polymer processing and mechanical testing facilities and then progressed onto X-Ray Diffraction and NanoVision.
