Invited Talk at London Workshop on Active Matter
21 November 2024

Dr Marco Pensalfini was invited to present insights from his research as part of the London Workshop on Active Matter.
This event, hosted by King's College London, brought together key London-based active matter researchers aiming to spark fruitful intellectual exchanges and new collaboration opportunities.
Marco's talk focused on recent computational modelling results showing how biological cells can modulate their mechanical behaviour by tuning the time scale and nature of cytoskeletal interactions. Identifying the building principles of such fascinating living materials may inspire the development of novel artificial adaptive soft structures.
Many thanks to Dr Rosalba Garcia-Millan and Dr Stefano Bo for this great initiative and the seamless event organisation!
