Dr Marco Pensalfini was invited to present insights from his research on “Biomechanics and mechanobiology of skin wound healing” as part of the Scar Free Symposium.

This event, organised to celebrate the Scar Free Foundation’s 25th anniversary, brought 100 scientists and clinicians at the forefront of wound healing and scarring research together for two days to debate this critical global challenge, which affects over 20 million of people in the UK.
