QM Bioengineers present at the Global MicroPhysiological Systems Day

8 March 2023

Global MPS Day
Global MPS Day

To celebrate all the amazing work being done with Organ-Chips and other microphysiological systems (MPS) in drug discovery and development, the Global MPS Day virtual symposium on March 9th 2023 is packed with presentations from the industry’s top experts and thought leaders. These internationally leading experts including Profs Robert Langer, Manti Guha, Thomas Hartung, Nicole Kleinstreuer, Paul Locke, as well as bioengineers Profs Hazel Screen and Martin Knight from Queen Mary University of London's School of Engineering and Materials Science.

The speakers and others discuss the many ways they’ve used organs-on-chips and MPS in their work and how these next-generation technologies are revolutionizing how we study human health.

This inaugural event hosted by Emulate, will celebrate the recent passing of the FDA Modernization Act 2.0 and discuss recent advancements in drug discovery and development with microphysiological systems (MPS), such as Organ-on-a-Chip technology, within cancer, cell and gene therapy, and immunology. There will also be breakout sessions highlighting practical insight into securing grant funding, decision making with MPS data, and how those new to MPS technology can get started.
