At the Spring Industrial Liaison Forum (ILF) every 3rd year project student was invited to submit a poster on their research. The best 50 posters were displayed to the visitors and the students competed for the best 3rd Year Project Prize.

The judges deliberated at length and decided to split the award this year between Jake Bewick who is supervised by Dr Lorenzo Botto and Rebecca Mergia who is supervised by Prof David Lee. Jake's project is on "mathematical and numerical modelling of buckling of a spherical cell due to an osmotic shock" and Rebecca's project is on "the effect of the Circadian Clock on the expression of TRPV4 in Articular Chondrocytes". Both are photographed being congratulated by Prof Wen Wang (Head of School).
