Hosted Conferences

5-7 September 2019: UK Japan Engineering Education League

The annual meeting of the UK Japan Engineering Education League will take place at Queen Mary University of London on 5-7 September 2019. This year we will be concentrating on research in the areas of Biomaterials, Biomedical Engineering, Bioinformatics and Biotechnology, including Chemical Engineering.

16-19 July 2019: CNPComp2019 - The 8th International Conference on Carbon NanoParticle Based Composites

CNPComp2019 continues a series of successful conferences on carbon-based nanocomposites that originated from the European thematic network CNT-NET. The conference focuses on the preparation and properties of composites containing all kinds of carbon nanoparticles (CNPs) including nanotubes, graphenes, blacks, and related materials. Whilst there is an emphasis on polymeric matrices, contributions on metallic or ceramic systems are welcome. The goal is to share knowledge and experience, in particular between nanocarbon systems that are currently at different stages of maturity, in order to advance the state of the art in understanding and application.

3-4 April 2017: HTC 2017 - The 1st International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonisation

Possibilities and Limits for Feedstocks, Processes and Applications

The 1st International Symposium on Hydrothermal Carbonisation will bring together scientists, engineers and technologists from across academia and industry to learn about and debate the latest advances in hydrothermal carbon. The programme will be composed of ONE SINGLE session accompanied by poster sessions over two days aimed at promoting collaborations and stimulate discussions including a set of keynote lectures focused on different applications of hydrothermal carbon materials ranging from bioenergy to agriculture and advanced materials for energy applications and catalysis.
