About INCLIDES

INCLIDES (short for Inclusive Commonwealth Learning for Interdisciplinary Development and Education for Sustainability) is a transnational project that explores how inclusive pedagogy to enhance higher education educators’ understanding of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) in interdisciplinary learning curricula. It's based on a cross-institutional initiative of three Association for Commonwealth Universities member universities in the UK (UCL and QMUL) and India (TISS) and is co-created based on practice-based research, evaluating the role and quality of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the development of culturally-relevant interdisciplinary education.

INCLIDES has grown as a result of this project and now brings together educators, students, and partners from around the world to reflect on how learning development can empower participation and inclusion in higher education.

The INCLIDES Toolkit showcases case studies, activities, and reflective practices developed through this collaboration, offering practical and adaptable resources for institutions seeking to make learning more inclusive, equitable, and sustainability-oriented through interdisciplinary learning approaches.
