We are excited to invite you to the launch of the Inclusive Commonwealth Learning for Interdisciplinary Development and Education for Sustainability (INCLIDES) Project, a collaborative initiative between University College London (UCL) (Dr Anne Preston) and Queen Mary University London (QMUL) (Dr Rehan Shah) in the UK and Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) in India (Dr Neha Christie and Dr Praveen Kumar).

This project brings together faculty committed to Education for Sustainable Development (ESD), interdisciplinary teaching and culturally responsive learning approaches. As part of this event, we invite you to the launch of a UK-India Community of Practice, where you will have the opportunity to collaborate globally with colleagues across SHAPE (Social Sciences, Humanities, and the Arts for People and the Economy) and STEM disciplines.

The online launch event is our first Virtual Staff Exchanges, sponsored by funding from the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), where we invite participants from the UK and India to:

- Learn the most recent research into ESD and higher education in the UK and India
- Review and reflect on how the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are embedded in your teaching and explore ways to enhance their impact.

In the longer term, we hope you will join us in:

- Co-creating a practice-based research-informed toolkit for integrating ESD in postgraduate curricula for interdisciplinary learning across ACU member countries

- Shape the future of interdisciplinary sustainable education through shared learning and innovative approaches.

This event will mark the beginning of a dynamic, cross-institutional collaboration, fostering inclusive and interdisciplinary approaches to ESD across borders.

We would love for you to be part of this initiative. Please RSVP here by registering here.

We look forward to welcoming you to this international network of faculty working towards a more sustainable future.
