As part of a QMUL-UCL collaborative research project being undertaken and led by Dr Rehan Shah and Dr Steph Fuller (QMUL) and Dr Anne Preston (UCL), a 2-hour hybrid structured workshop is being organised for staff across both universities to come together to explore their experiences of community-based learning and teaching and sustainability.

The aims of the workshop are to collaboratively develop recommendations for integrating effective community-based education approaches into education for sustainability (ESD) practices. These recommendations will inform ongoing support provided to educators at both our institutions on the integration of ESD into the curriculum.

As this is part of a research project funded by the Association for Learning Development in Higher Education (ALDinHE), attendees will be provided with a detailed information sheet and consent form at the workshop, to check that they are happy to participate.
