Industrial Workshop on Systems Engineering

The aim is to discuss and deliver a big and discipline-bridging picture of Systems Engineering, in particular unpacking the growing expectations for System Engineering solutions and understanding the emerging competencies and skills (satisfying business needs).
It will provide an opportunity for leading practitioners to discuss and explore how businesses in the same or a different sector are dealing with the emerging global challenges, by focusing on three main themes to be discussed in breakout sessions – inspired by keynotes:
- Theme 1. Digital Transformation
- Theme 2. Sustainability & Environment
- Theme 3. Workforce & Skills
The outcome of this workshop will identify the critical gaps (in technologies, methods, skills) to determine future directions for Systems Engineering research and education. This will directly feed into our brand-new MSc and Level 7 Apprenticeship programmes in Data-Centric Systems Engineering.
