How to get involved:
We're looking for employers and alumni to join us in-person for the day 2 Masterclasses, to share your experiences and advice:
Interview Skills, Wednesday 9 September, 11-1pm, Mile End Campus
From “Tell us about yourself” to “How many rubber ducks can fit in a double-decker bus?”, interviews can cover it all.
This session will help students understand the different types of questions employers ask—from competency and motivational questions to curveballs designed to test your problem-solving skills. Students will be encouraged to practise crafting clear, confident responses so they can approach interviews with greater assurance.
Acing the Assessment Centre, Wednesday 9 September, 2-4pm, Mile End campus
Students will learn what to expect at assessment centres, how students are assessed and common misconceptions. This session will bust the myths and share practical strategies to help students prepare effectively. Students also gain hands-on experience by trying out typical assessment centre activities, so they can approach the real thing with greater confidence.
