On 3 November 2026, Dr Xinwei Wang and three PhD students, Clarizze Cuntapay, Peiran Mu and Jiaxing Li, from Queen Mary University of London’s School of Engineering and Materials Science visited Computer Science Department, Loughborough University, for a joint PhD research seminar hosted by Dr Hui Fang.

The seminar brought together doctoral researchers from both universities to present their work, exchange ideas and discuss shared research interests. It provided an opportunity for students to practise communicating their research, receive feedback and build connections with fellow researchers.

The visit built on existing links in joint PhD supervision between Queen Mary and Loughborough, supporting further research exchange and opportunities for collaboration.
