Dr Chinnapat Panwisawas delivers Keynote at Asia-Pacific International Conference on Additive Manufacturing (APICAM)
14 July 2025

Dr Panwisawas has attended The 4th Asia-Pacific International Conference on Additive Manufacturing (APICAM 2025) between 30th June 2025 and 3rd July 2025 at RMIT University in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.
The APICAM 2025 was attended by more than 400 people who are academics, industrialists and government officers from 4 continents across the globe.
Dr Panwisawas was invited to give a Keynote Talk on 'Computational materials engineering: From multi-scale multi-physics modelling to science-informed materials discovery.' His talk focused on computational additive manufacturing enabled materials discovery and the development of a holistic computational AM framework to enable multi-material additive manufacturing for engineering, especially, discovery of new materials and processing route for biomedical applications.
“APICAM was created to provide an opportunity for industry professionals and academic researchers to come together, share knowledge and engage in the type of networking that is vital to the furthering of the additive manufacturing industry.”
At the APICAM 2025 conference, Dr Panwisawas has also met and discussed with Dr Paul Shelley, Vice President for Innovation of Molycop where his office is based in Australia. We discussed about the progress of the current MolyCop-funded PhD studentship and future collaboration.
