We are proud to congratulate the B1 group of final year students for the successful completion of their final year project titled "Developing a Mobile Phone Spectrometer." Their dedication and teamwork have resulted in an impressive engineering achievement.

The three student groups designed and developed compact, functional spectrometers that integrate with a mobile phone, enabling absorption spectroscopy using a device built through 3D prototyping and optical design principles. In addition to the hardware, they also created a custom mobile APP that controls and interacts with the spectrometer.

This project stands as a testament to their technical ability, creativity, and determination. I am extremely proud of all their hard work and the professionalism they have demonstrated throughout this journey.

I wish each of them the very best as they take their next steps into the engineering profession.
