Dr Jae-Hwan Park Welcomes Energy Expert Pauline Kasongo-Ntumba For Guest Lecture

The Business Strategy and Technology Entrepreneurship module turned its focus to the energy sector, as Senior Lecturer Jae-Hwan Park welcomed energy expert Pauline Marie Françoise Kasongo-Ntumba to deliever a guest lecture.
This expert-led session provided students with an in-depth exploration of advancements in sustainable power generation and the challenges of transitioning to renewable energy sources.
Pauline shared valuable industry insights, covering key areas such as:
- The technology behind the thermoelectric generator – how it works and its potential applications.
- Industry implications of the thermoelectric generator – its role in the evolving energy landscape.
- Market challenges – obstacles to widespread adoption, including regulatory and commercial barriers.
Students actively engaged in discussions on how energy companies navigate regulatory landscapes, manage research and development investments, and establish competitive advantages in a rapidly-evolving market. Jae-Hwan’s efforts to connect students with leading professionals once again provided an invaluable real-world perspective on energy innovation and entrepreneurship.
