The first in a series of Biomedical Engineering nights was a great success with everyone from undergraduate and postgraduate students, researchers and lecturers attending.

The event on Thursday 24th October featured a debate from Dr Chris Chapman and Dr Stefaan Verbruggen considering the question ‘is it time to end the use of animal models?’, moderated by Dr Azadeh Rezaei.

The audience engaged with the debate and there was a lively Q&A afterwards.

The attendees had an opportunity to socialise and meet people from across the centre for bioengineering over drinks and snacks provided after the debate.
