Yutong Sun from the Soft Matter Group wins Best Research Poster Prize at the ILF

Yutong Sun was delighted to win the best Intelligent Transport Centre poster prize at the Industrial Liaison Forum (ILF) this year. Her poster was on her development of a “Smart waistband with stretchable piezo-resistive sensors for monitoring activity and postures.”

Her supervisor Prof James Busfield was delighted that her excellent work was recognised by the judges this year. Yutong is a CSC scholar and her supervisory group includes Prof Federico Carpi, of the University of Florence. This collaboration is supported with funding from the European Space Agency.
