Ana Sobrido gave a seminar and visited the facilities at the MIT Chemical Engineering Department about her work on electrospinning as processing technique for the next generation of sustainable electrodes for flow batteries.

This visit is part of an ongoing collaboration with Prof Brushett within the framework of a Royal Society International Exchanges award to study the feasibility of using biomass-waste to replace petrol derived carbons as electrodes in redox flow batteries.
