Congratulations to Jianmin Ma who successfully defended his PhD research on 'Numerical Analysis of Flow Structures and Bed Entrainment in Turbulent Open-Channel Flow', which was supervised by Prof John Williams. Jianmin has published his findings on the international journals, e.g. Journal of Hydraulic Engineering (ASCE), and was also awarded the Best Paper Award during the 16th International Congress of IAHR-APD last year.
