The number of PhD students in Materials who have completed their degrees in the 20 months since the new Research Excellence Framework (REF) period began has passed 40. This represents significantly more than one completion per academic per year. This level of completions would have put us at the top of the last RAE completions league table. Now we just have to maintain this level for the next three years.
