Unbalanced in STEM podcast project which aims to platform stories and tackle the normalisation surrounding inequality, discrimination, and harassment in STEM fields.

Picture a Scientist is a film that follows three women scientists: a biologist, a chemist, and a geologist who lead viewers on a journey deep into their own experiences in the sciences, overcoming harassment, institutional discrimination, and subtle slights. The film challenges audiences of all backgrounds and genders to question their own implicit biases and move toward change (watch the trailer here).

The virtual screening is funded by UCL Chemical Engineering. The film was scheduled to premiere at the postponed 2020 Tribeca Film Festival.
