The European Alliance of Medical and Biological Engineering Societies (EAMBES) held its General Assembly in Brussels on 18th November. In the General Assembly it was announced that Liz Tanner, as Secretary of the European Society for Biomaterials had been elected Chairman of the Divisions of Societies for two years until the end of 2008. She therefore joins Wen Wang (Engineering, representative of Division of Academic Institutions) as a member of Council of EAMBES.
