Materials simulations and modelling at QMUL join strength with other major London University Colleges under the newly formed Thomas Young Centre - London Centre for Theory and Simulation of Materials. The Centre will be a forum for coordinating some of the activities of the top materials modelling groups in London, enhancing both the quality of research and its impact on industry and academia. The Centre was launched at ICL, with a special seminar by Prof. Michele Parrinello on “Simulating Complexity: Challenges and Progress in Atomistic Materials Science Simulations”.
