Announcement of New Research Grants

It is recently announced that Professors Vadgama and Ray have received the following three joint research grants:
1. Fabrication and Integration of thin film organic devices on flexible substrates for displays from DTI Technology Priority Area: Electronics and Photonics: Novel Technologies for Low-Cost High Efficiency Electronics and Lighting Systems with University of East Anglia and National Physical Laboratory
2. Exploitation of surface plasmon resonance imaging for 2 dimensional smart cell screening from DTI Technology Priority Area: Bio and Healthcare - Exploitation of Bioscience for Industry
3. A high sensitivity broad spectrum optical early warning system forchemical toxic agents in water from EPSRC with the University of East Anglia.
The total value of the projects is over £2m including QMUL share of £650k.
