Materials taster activity at Trinity school
12 June 2006

In May 2006, the Teaching Assistant and the PG ambassador team visited Trinity school in Woodford for a 4 half day event to promote Materials Science and Engineering. This event was aimed at Year 8 students. The team demonstrated a variety of activities to over 200 students. These activities include finger printing, dental impression, shoe mark casting and a Problem Based Learning exercise. The event has very good feedback from both staff and students at Trinity School. Similar activities will be run in the future at both Queen Mary and Trinity School. A big thank you to everyone involved for a job well done.
