Meeting of the UK Sustainable Hydrogen Energy Consortium (UK-SHEC)

The Centre for Clean Energy at QMUL hosted the 2006 Spring meeting of the UK Sustainable Hydrogen Energy Consortium between 10-11 April 2006. The meeting started with a keynote presentation from Prof. Jim Skea (OBE), Director of the UKERC, on UK energy research & policy, and then an overview on hydrogen energy from Prof. Peter Edwards (FRS), Co-ordinator of the UK-SHEC. Members of the consortium reported recent achievements and exchanged views on future plans on the theme of hydrogen generation, storage and social-economical issues. The meeting was attended by more than 50 participants from consortium members and collaborators.
