Prof Sergey Karabasov gives talk at Roy K. Amiet Memorial Symposium

Professor Sergey Karabasov delivered an invited talk at the Roy K. Amiet Memorial Symposium, held in Naples from 6th - 8th September 2026.

The symposium was organised by TU Delft, Politecnico di Torino, Roma Tre University, and the University of Naples Federico II.

Over the past decade, the field of aeroacoustics has undergone a profound transformation, driven by the widespread adoption of advanced experimental and computational techniques in both academia and industry. While several applications have reached a high level of maturity within the scientific community, others are emerging, bringing fresh theoretical, experimental, and numerical challenges. These developments, along with the associated scientific and technological challenges, were discussed by leading aeroacoustics researchers from Europe, the United States, and China who attended this three-day event.
