Queen Mary is 3rd in the UK for Engineering and Technology in PTES survey

The school of Engineering and Materials Science is celebrating positive results in the Postgraduate Taught Experience Survey (PTES).
The survey results showed many impressive outcomes including:
- Queen Mary is 3rd in the UK for Engineering and Technology – out of 42 universities
- Engineering is the second best performing subject area in the university
- Queen Mary is the second best performing university for Engineering in the Russell Group.
- Engineering at Queen Mary is 10% above the overall benchmark from all 42 universities and is the secon best performing subject area for the university in this regard.
- 100% of students responded positively that the course is intellectually stimulating, has enhanced their academic ability and challenged them to produce their best work.
- 100% of students say they have developed their skills as an independent learner, and that their research skills have developed during their course.
- 100% of students say health and wellbeing support meets their needs and that there are appropriate online library resources.
- 95% of students responded positively about their skills development from their programme.
- 100% of students agree that they have opportunities to give feedback.
- 100% of students also understand what is expected of them for their major project.
