Almost 100 students from the Queen Mary University of London Engineering School at Northwestern Polytechnical University (QMES) will travel to London this summer to participate in the QMES Summer School 2025. The programme will run from 30 June to 11 July at Queen Mary’s Mile End campus.

Now a flagship feature of the partnership between Queen Mary and NPU, the summer school is designed to promote cross-cultural exchange and enhance global learning. Over the two-week programme, students will engage in a dynamic mix of academic seminars, campus activities, and cultural excursions across London.

The initiative aims to give participants a first-hand experience of UK higher education, while fostering international friendships and global perspectives.

“We’re delighted to welcome this year’s cohort to London,” said a spokesperson for Queen Mary. “The QMES Summer School is an opportunity to showcase the diversity and vibrancy of our university community, while deepening the academic and cultural connections between our institutions.”
